Level 3 Supporting Individuals with Autistic Spectrum Conditions
An opportunity to look in depth at how individuals who are on the autistic spectrum can be supported with a tailored, personalised and empowering structure to help them live life to the full. This course provides a range of knowledge and understanding about autistic spectrum conditions and explores various theories and concepts. We’ll explore the impact of these conditions on the lives of individuals and those close to them and learn good practice in key areas such as communication and support. Delivery will include a range of media and activities and there’ll be plenty of time to discuss person-specific support strategies.
The course is pitched at Level 3 and aimed at individuals who want to develop further knowledge and understanding of autistic spectrum conditions in a professional capacity and parents/carers with an appropriate level of pre-existing knowledge or experience in the subject.
There are no assessments and completion of the course does not lead to a formal qualification.
Participants will be expected to have a degree of knowledge adn/or experience of the subject matter from having attended our 1 day Autism Awareness workshop or equivalent learning. This course focuses on progressing knowledge and skills beyond the basics and a reasonable level of understanding will be assumed.

£80 per person (no VAT to pay). Group training requests are priced on application.
