The fee for each course is specified within the description on the ‘course information’ page. Learners meeting certain criteria may be eligible for a subsidy on their course fee. The rules can be complicated so it's always best to contact us to see if you qualify. Please note that fees must be paid at the time of enrolment and are not normally refundable. Read our terms and conditions relating to cancellations and refunds.
Don't let fees be a barrier to learning - find out about various ways to pay for courses and qualifications.
If you want to study with us and your course is not one that can be funded by a government subsidy, you may want to consider applying for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover some or all of the fees. Advanced Learner Loans are available to anyone aged 19 and over (subject to eligibility) and for study at level 3 - level 6.
Getting a loan doesn’t depend on your income and there are no credit checks. What's more, you won't need to start repaying until you're earning more than £21,000 a year. Before you apply you'll need to contact us for a ‘Learning and funding information’ letter and then we can talk you through the whole process. How much you get will depend on the type of course, the course fees and the maximum loan available for that course. More information is available on GOV.UK.
Paying by instalments
If you do need to pay some or all of the course fee then provided your course is longer than 4 weeks and the fee is more than £50 you can opt to pay by instalments; you'll need to make an initial payment when you enrol to secure your place. Read our terms and conditions for paying by instalments.
What's included in the price?
All examination and registration fees are included in the course fee quoted unless otherwise stated. On some courses the initial cost of materials is built into the fee to get you started, but you will need to provide other materials such as books and stationery. Ask us about this when you enrol.
