Policies and procedures
We operate in line with various policies and some sensible, straightforward procedures which are designed to protect all parties. As part of Wiltshire Council our policies and procedures are all to be read in line with, and subject to the Council's overarching policies.
> Safeguarding: All staff have a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. We work alongside other services and agencies in Wiltshire to prevent abuse or neglect and undertake to investigate any concerns if we think a child or vulnerable adult may be at risk of harm. We also have a duty to have due regard to the need to ‘Prevent’ our learners from being drawn into terrorism and we take this responsibility very seriously - view our Safeguarding and Prevent policy which applies to all areas of the business to ensure that we can continue to protect learners from those who wish to promote extremism.
> Equality & diversity: All our services are delivered within the terms of promoting equality and inclusion, and valuing diversity - view our Equal Opportunities policy.
> Complaints: We hope that you'll never have cause to be dissatisfied but we do have a Complaints and Appeals policy and procedures so that we can ensure any complaints are dealt with fairly and speedily.
